About Us
Hi, we’re Kate and Shane — a husband-and-wife creative team and the faces behind Marshall Burke Media.
Our story began in 2016 at Southeast Missouri State University, where we both majored in advertising and worked together on our student publication. That experience sparked our shared love for telling stories through photography and videography, and for creating work that feels authentic and meaningful.
We chose the name Marshall Burke Media because it represents both of us — Marshall is Kate’s maiden name, and Burke is now the last name we share. We moved to Arizona in the spring of 2021, bought our first home together in 2024, and truly can’t imagine building our life anywhere else. We were married on September 21, 2025, at the Desert Botanical Garden, a place that holds a special part of our story.
Today, we photograph Couples, Engagements, Elopements, and Weddings, capturing connection and emotion in a clean, timeless way.
